When I am not blogging I can be found reading; scribbling essays, random musings, ideas, stories, magazine articles and journal entries; cooking, baking, and eating; spending time with my wonderful friends and family; taking walks; curled up with my cat; watching Great British Bake-Off, River Cottage, and Location Location Location; wandering around the Oxfam bookshop, Waterstones and Heffers; taking close-ups of my food and other still life; and being a wonderful girlfriend to my amazing boyfriend.
This blog is my way of documenting my everyday life, my thoughts and ponderings and my ideas. I’m only just beginning so please excuse any messiness! This is the perfect oppurtunity for me to find another writing outlet and indulge in my passions.

Hi, you have a nice blog. But I just observe that you barely eat anything. Greens/salads for lunch? Lunch should ALSO include whole grains, protein, dairy, fats….come on!
I can see why you might think that from last week but I wasn’t very well and had practically no appetite! If you look at older posts or yesterday’s post you’ll see that I eat plenty of dairy, whole grains and fats
I agree that I could probably do with a little more protein but I do track it and it is usually roughly the amount recommended.
Also I pretty much never posts my snacks (which I have about twice a day) as they’re usually just grabbed quickly when I don’t have my camera to hand!
Hooray for healthy living blogs! I stumbled onto one (and my own) about a year and a half ago. It’s an awesome journey but a total lifestyle change that makes you contemplate why you haven’t been living this way from day 1! Welcome to the blogging world and happy writings! Great pic by the way!
